Heather Wallerson Krog, MSc International Marketing & Management, is Chief Diversity and Inclusion Consultant and Facilitator at LIVING INSTITUTE.
Heather has worked in education abroad for over fifteen years, specializing in the fields of education and business. For over seven years, she served as a Cultural Mentor and Inclusion Facilitator for the Diverse Identities.. As a facilitator and educator, she has worked with Deloitte, Econ, DIS, Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen Business Academy, and The Council of International Education Exchange (CIEE).
Heather completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in 2004, earning a BSBA in Marketing and International Business. Inspired by her study abroad semester in Copenhagen, she wrote an independent project after returning home entitled “Why Do So Few Black Students Study Abroad?” She then relocated to Copenhagen for an internship at DIS, after which she enrolled in the International Marketing & Management master’s program at Copenhagen Business School. Her master’s thesis was entitled “Assessing Expatriate Family Management in Denmark: An Analysis of Schneider Electric Denmark’s Expatriate Family Management Policy Implementation.”
Heather is Guyanese American and was born and raised in New York City. She is now living in Copenhagen. Mindful of her own experience of integration, she enjoys helping people new to Copenhagen thrive in Danish society.
Heather is fluent in English and Danish.
